Why NowPlaying.Studio exists
I spent years at Spotify working on the systems that help music show up everywhere. Outside work, I was playing gigs and doing the DIY grind: load-ins, gear lists, tech specs, broken website templates, and the quiet stress of making sure every gig goes to plan.
Independent artists are expected to run a small business on top of making art, and the tooling to do it either doesn't exist or is scattered across a dozen apps and spreadsheets. The more momentum you get, the more coordination work appears out of nowhere. I wanted something that makes the "business side" feel lighter, so you can put more energy into rehearsals, releases, and shows.
